DKRO Labs Patreon Terms of Use

Welcome to DKRO Labs! By downloading, accessing, or using any DKRO Labs digital files through Patreon, you agree to the following Terms of Use.

These terms are intended to protect our work while remaining fair and easy to understand for our community of makers and creators.

If you do not agree with these terms, please do not download or use DKRO Labs files.

1. Ownership of Digital Files

All digital files, models, artwork, branding, renders, images, and related content remain the intellectual property of DKRO Labs.

Purchasing or subscribing does not transfer ownership of any digital assets.

Members are granted a limited license to use DKRO Labs files according to the terms of their Patreon membership tier.

2. Personal Use License

Members of the DKRO Free and DKRO Friends tiers are granted a personal-use-only license.

Personal-use members may:

  • Download and print files for personal enjoyment
  • Resize models for personal printing needs
  • Adjust tolerances or minor print settings
  • Add names or personalization for personal use only

Personal-use members may NOT:

  • Sell physical prints
  • Share digital files
  • Resell digital files
  • Upload files to websites or marketplaces
  • Redistribute modified files
  • Use files in AI datasets or AI training systems
  • Claim DKRO Labs designs as their own work

3. Commercial License

Active members of the DKRO Family tier are granted a non-exclusive commercial license to sell physical 3D prints of eligible DKRO Labs designs.

This commercial license remains valid only while the membership is active.

Upon cancellation or expiration of the membership, all commercial selling rights immediately end.

Commercial members may sell physical prints:

  • On Etsy
  • On personal websites or Shopify stores
  • At craft fairs and local events
  • To local retail shops through small-scale wholesale arrangements

Commercial members may NOT:

  • Sell on Amazon
  • Sell on Ebay
  • Use print-on-demand manufacturing services
  • Use Slant3D Teleport or similar services
  • Use overseas manufacturing
  • Use injection molding or mass manufacturing methods
  • Operate large-scale print farms without written permission from DKRO Labs
  • Sell or distribute digital files in any form
  • Redistribute modified digital files
  • Use DKRO Labs branding, logos, renders, or product photography without permission

4. Allowed and Prohibited Modifications

The following minor modifications are permitted:

  • Resizing models
  • Adjusting tolerances
  • Adding keychain holes or similar functional adjustments

The following modifications are NOT permitted for redistribution or commercial derivative works:

  • Remixing DKRO Labs models into new digital products
  • Combining models into competing digital products
  • Creating derivative STL packs
  • Selling modified digital files
  • Adding names or personalization for commercial resale

Modified files remain the intellectual property of DKRO Labs.

5. Attribution Requirement

Commercial sellers must provide visible attribution to DKRO Labs in online listings whenever reasonably possible.

Acceptable attribution examples include:

  • “Designed by DKRO Labs”
  • Link to the DKRO Labs Patreon page
  • Link to DKROLabs.com

Attribution is appreciated for in-person sales but is not required for physical booth signage or packaging.

6. Fan Art and Inspired Designs

Some DKRO Labs designs may be inspired by popular media, genres, or cultural themes.

Commercial sellers are responsible for understanding any intellectual property risks associated with selling fan-inspired products.

DKRO Labs does not guarantee that fan-inspired designs are free from third-party intellectual property claims.

Any such products are sold and distributed at your own risk.

7. AI and Dataset Restrictions

DKRO Labs files may NOT be:

  • Used for AI training
  • Uploaded to AI datasets
  • Scraped for machine learning purposes
  • Uploaded to public file repositories
  • Shared in file-sharing groups or archives

This includes both original and modified versions of the files.

8. File Sharing and Redistribution

Sharing DKRO Labs files harms independent creators and is strictly prohibited.

You may NOT:

  • Share downloaded files with others
  • Upload files to free or paid marketplaces
  • Redistribute files through cloud drives or communities
  • Sell access to DKRO Labs files
  • Include DKRO Labs files in bundles or memberships

Please support creators by directing others to the official DKRO Labs Patreon page.

9. Print Quality and Product Responsibility

DKRO Labs is not responsible for:

  • Printer failures
  • Improper print settings
  • Unsafe materials
  • Product defects caused by manufacturing
  • Customer injuries related to printed products

Commercial sellers are fully responsible for the quality, safety, and legality of the products they sell.

10. Termination of License

DKRO Labs reserves the right to revoke access or terminate licenses for violations of these terms.

Violation of these Terms of Use may result in:

  • Removal from Patreon membership access
  • Revocation of commercial rights
  • Permanent loss of access to DKRO Labs files

11. Changes to These Terms

These Terms of Use may be updated periodically.

Continued use of DKRO Labs files after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
